ASP – Zaubererbruder – Der Krabat Liederzyklus
Thursday, May 20th, 2010It has been 11 years now since Frankfurt based Gothic band ASP formed, and since then the project founded by Alexander Spreng has gained quite a fan base both in Germany and around the world.
Their last album, 2008’s “Zaubererbruder – Der Krabat Liederzyklus” immediately got my attention as it was based off of a classic German novel “Krabat” by Otfried Preussler, and as soon as I heard about it I pre-ordered a copy in anticipation.
Sophie Tiedtke – Airport Affairs EP
Tuesday, April 27th, 2010Electronic music isn’t for everyone, but I’ve gained a real appreciation for the genre over the years and now absolutely adore it. I’m always looking for new electronic projects to check out, a new sound to explore and so when I picked up “Airport Affairs” by Sophie Tiedtke I was excited to hear what this independent artist had to offer.
Die Perlen – Zehn
Monday, April 26th, 2010I was first introduced to the duo of Ferdinand Ess and Katjah Hah via their 2008 release “Szenenwechsel” and became fascinated with their style of “Telektroponk!”.
Eisbrecher – Eiszeit
Sunday, April 25th, 2010One of my most anticipated albums of 2010 was the new offering, “Eiszeit” by Eisbrecher, the duo of ex Megaherz members Alexx Wesselsky and Noel Pix.
