Interview with Mona Mur & En Esch

On November 20th, 2010 Slick Idiot and Mona Mur hit Toronto as part of their Canadian tour and played a fantastic show at Club Neutral. Radio Nietzsche was there at the show and did an audio interview with Mona Mur and En Esch, so stay tuned for that in the coming weeks.

German Punk Band Outsiders Joy to release new album “Yes We Can” + Interview with Radio Nietzsche!

Hello, Everyone!

Cologne based Punk group Outsiders Joy are getting set to release their third album “Yes We Can” this upcoming Friday, October 15th, and to mark the occasion lead singer and guitarist Party (or Michael Festag as he is known during work hours) has done several interviews for Radio Nietzsche. The text interview is already available in the interviews section, so check that one out! The audio interview will be the focus of the next show, just in time for the release this Friday, so stay tuned!

DeutscheMusik.net to release a German compilation album

Good day, everyone. I was recently informed by Nick of Deutschemusik.net that he has been hard at work putting together a compilation album of German artists. The album titled “Krieg im Kopf” is on sale now through Amazon.com and through the official website: www.kriegimkopf.com

Here is the official announcement:

DeutscheMusik.net Records have just released a German Rock compilation featuring nothing but the best Neue Deutsche Härte music. The album is titled Krieg Im Kopf and contains 14 tracks from some of the biggest names in Germany. It has just been released on the 5th of October and is available on the website www.kriegimkopf.com for order. It will soon be on Amazon.com and a few stores will be selling the album in the U.S.A.

Mona Mur / En Esch Announce Canadian Tour

The duo of Mona Mur and En Esch have announced that they will be doing a 2 week Canadian Tour in November. The tour will kick off in Vancouver, British Columbia on November 10th and end in Sarnia, Ontario on the 25th. Mona Mur has worked with such artists as: Einstürzende Neubauten and Joachim Witt, while En Esch is well known to North American fans as the former guitarist of German industrial group KMFDM and is also a founding member of Slick Idiot along with Günter Schulz.

Radio Nietzsche has interviewed the duo for the release of their album 120 Tage (you can find that in the interviews section) and looks forward to attending the Toronto show and hopefully sitting down with the duo face to face. You can check out all the Canadian tour dates on their website as well as hear samples of their music.

Radio Nietzsche News Update

There will be no new show this week as I just got in the door this minute! However, I do have some great news for everyone, I will have an interview with Party of German punk band Outsiders Joy in the near future!

They are releasing their second CD on Hulk Rakorz in the near future and so to mark the occasion we are going to have an in depth interview all about the German punk scene.
